Joeys is the youngest section of the Scout movement, where children begin their journey into Scouting. Through fun, engaging activities and games, young Joeys learn fundamental skills, develop confidence, and make new friends in a safe, supportive environment.

Cubs builds on the foundation from Joeys with more adventurous activities and skill development. Cubs learn outdoor skills, craft, sport, and community service while developing leadership qualities and independence.

Scouts experience increased independence, adventure, and challenge. They undertake more complex outdoor activities, develop practical skills, and take on leadership roles within their patrols while preparing for the challenges of adulthood.

Ventures is for young people seeking increased challenge and adventure. Venturers undertake expedition planning, wilderness leadership, and personal development activities. They're developing into responsible, capable young adults ready to make a difference in the world.
